SELECTMEN MEETING
MAY 18, 2000

Herbert Ramsdell, Kathy Maddocks and Barry Gammon were in attendance.

Meeting was called to order at 6:30 pm.

Linda Gammon was in to discuss an abutting property and the owner's proposal to move a trailer onto that property. Linda also required general information regarding a proposed dog grooming operation on Linda's property.

Bill Pike and Darlene Harvey were in to discuss Rescue Department operation and need for paramedic personnel. The entire rescue personnel have been invited to the next FAC meeting scheduled for June 13, 2000. Darlene advised that the department members have been advised of the invitation and that those who can be available on the 13th are planning to attend. The purpose of the invitation from the FAC is so that the FAC members can have an opportunity to meet each of the individual rescue department members and gather input and ideas directly from that membership.

Richard Huntley was in to discuss the status of the automobiles/trucks on his property. Richard was advised that he is being required to clean up and remove those vehicles not in use on his property or, in the alternative, obtain a junkyard permit from the Town.

The CEO was in to briefly discuss the State of Maine General Assistance grant for a new septic system which has been issued for a private citizen and the process to accomplish the installation of the new system. The CEO will contact Mr. Gardner for a septic design and then the Town will get the necessary bids from Town-based installers and then complete the process.

    Weekly warrant was completed.

No further business to come before the meeting, the meeting was adjourned at 8:00 pm.
