SELECTMEN MEETING
JUNE 1, 2000

    Herbert Ramsdell, Kathy Maddocks and Barry Gammon were in attendance.

    Meeting was called to order at 6:30 pm.

    This meeting was video taped by Dave Smith.

    GA Administrator had a client who met with GA Admin. & the CEO.

    Mark McNally was in to clarify open space questions at Ryan Hill Development.

    Jackie Harriman delivered Youth League billings for payment and obtain printout of current League financials.

    Joe Maxfield spoke briefly with Kathy Maddocks regarding issues at Moy-Mo-Day-O.

    Earl Maxwell delivered Fire Department billings for request for a PO, and obtain printout of current Departmental financials.

    Theresa Maziotti telephoned Kathy Maddocks to briefly discuss status of 4th of July parade events and to advise that fire works vendor was arranged and that: the vendor would be making arrangements to obtain all necessary permits for such event. Theresa also required current financial balance of account. Theresa advised that certain monetary donations had been made to the parade event. Advertising of parade is scheduled in Shopping Guide for next four weeks. Advertising will include the Dedication planned for 1:00 pm on July 4.

    The Selectmen, on behalf of the Town, accepted a memorial gift from the family of Nancy Jones, former Deputy Clerk and Tax Collector. The gift, a clock and plaque, will be hung in the lobby of the Municipal Complex.

    Brief discussion of proposed microwave tower installation on private property. Application is now before the Planning Board. Selectmen question accuracy of the cost of the project as is listed on application forms.

    Dick Jarrett was in to obtain meeting minutes and a copy of ordinance regarding pre-1997 Zoning Ordinance business permit requirements.

    Weekly warrant was completed.

    No further business to come before the meeting, the meeting was adjourned at 8:15 pm.
